Throughout their year in office, the Mayor and Mayoress, Councillor Henry and Mrs Vivien Spyvee, will be organising events to raise money for their charities. December 2009 Gazette: A charity ball has been held in memory of a teenage who died in a car crash. Family and friends of Lauren Evans, who died in December 2006, raised money for the Colchester Night Shelter with a night at the Moot Hall.
